The Grass Gold Cup electrode with a cable length of 122 cm is a high-quality reusable cup electrode for precise recordings in EEG, PSG, EMG, ECG, and EOG.

The 24-karat gold coating (99.99% purity) supports stable, low-resistance signal transmission and is suitable for reliable measurements in clinics, sleep laboratories, and neurophysiological diagnostics. The cup shape facilitates positioning on the scalp and supports even distribution of the electrode paste.

The highly flexible Teflon cable is strain-relieved and designed for repeated clinical use. Electrode cream can be easily applied or refilled via the integrated opening.

For optimal conduction, skin preparation with an abrasive gel and the use of a suitable adhesive conductive paste or electrode cream is recommended.

The quality of the electrode is very important to ensure optimal recording during EEG, EMG, ECG or OEG. Gold or silver-silver chloride (Ag/AgCl) cup electrodes (cup electrodes) are used for reliable and stable recording during EEG and PSG examinations. The shape of the electrode ensures low impedance and easy positioning at various main/head sites.

For a reliable measurement, first treat the patient's skin with a skin cleansing cream such as Nuprep. Then stick the Gold Cup electrode to the patient's scalp using an adhesive conductive gel/paste (e.g. Lic2 or EC2). The adhesive conductive paste can also be refilled through a small integrated opening in the cap.
