Gold Cup electrodes can be used for EEG, EMG, EP, EOG, ECG, and long-term video EEG monitoring (LTM). They provide stable recordings during neurological examinations and in sleep diagnostics, such as polysomnography (PSG) and sleep screening.
To ensure reliable electrical conductivity, the skin can be properly prepared before application. The cup electrodes are then positioned on the scalp using a suitable conductive adhesive paste.
