Properties
CNSac excellent range of disposable cup electrodes are designed with a tangle free lead wire with DIN 42802 connector (1.5 mm DIN) that is compatible to the most EEG, EP and EMG systems. Our disposable cups are specifically designed for clinical EEG, EP and PSG examinations. The high quality silver/ silver chloride sensor (Ag/AgCl) ensures high signal quality during monitoring.

Recommendations
Having a high quality disposable electrode is only part of the picture when perusing a strong and reliable signal. The correct treatment of the skin and maintaining a stable placement of the cup electrode is critical to reach a low impedance recording during an EEG examination. The form of the CNSac electrode is naturally optimized to provide low impedance and easy placement however, skin preparation gel (such as Nuprep) and an adhesive conducting paste (such as lic2) should be used to achieve a less than 5k ohms impedance (according to American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM))
